We have been in Guam 18 months now. Pro's and con's to note:
Pros:

• The ocean

• warm weather (shorts and flip flops 24-7)
• some nice beaches
• everything is close
• most people friendly
• good place to base travel from
• everyone knows everyone
• No one cares what you do or how much you make.
• Personal attention at bank, Dr. etc.
• Great outdoor activities especially if you like hiking, biking, running.

Cons:

• schools - even

You should have seen them the other day. The pair of sneakers that I'd worn for the past couple of years were cracking and deteriorating on top, but down below, something much worse was developing. The soles underneath were chipped away,...

I know I'm a wee bit late in writing this, but that thought came back to me. How many of you are thinking what I'm thinking? The MDA Labor Day Telethon, as we used to know it, is practically gone from the airwaves, replaced by a much shorter show, and with a new title. That new show is likely not to be noticed by anyone. I have noticed that something is just missing from Labor Day weekend. I mean, who hasn't noticed?

I am moving to Lexington Park, MD...wondering if it is difficult finding apt.'s to rent accepting two large dogs?

Additionally; I am moving there for a job at Boeing...the position I accepted is a "revolving shift".....is this the same as a rotational shift? : i.e. days to evenings to nights.
