How the Las Vegas Real Estate Market Goes

Hear Lots of discussion about where the Las Vegas Real Estate market is. So let us take a look at the History and see...


This chart plots the median and average price for single family homes in Las Vegas since January 1, 2000. I would have liked to have gone back 10 years but that data is hard to come by.

What we see is the famed bubble in living color. We have added a couple of metrics...

Ahhh Lone Mountain..

Lone Mountain is a small peak in the Spring Mountains. It is at the eastern edge of the Springs which is the western edge of the Las Vegas Valley.

It is separarted by a mile or so from the rest of the Springs...so it sticks out there all by itself.



Lone Mountain rises to about 3300 feet from a 2600 foot base.

Has a reasonably gentle trail up its spine from the north west...
