That's how I use to feel everyday,lost in deep antiquity,lost in other worlds,daydreaming about some life or another,trying to live without that is so awful and hard,I don't know how it was happened with this but I can't feel lofty atmospheres or all that,I sort of feel not entirely stuck in the real world but unable to...

Once away from urban centers, the chains don't do well (too little traffic). Therefore, the Mom & Pop's seem to thrive, or at least, exist. About the only chain that survives in semi-rural markets are the franchised Dairy Queens.

It must have been years ! There is absolutely nothing nice about a drive to or from Austin!
The folks who routinely make that trip use 281 and the next available Austin access east/west! It is faster than I-35! The traffic between San Marcos and Austin is like driving from Huntsville to Galveston via Houston! The term horrible...

Mariposa California

Morning .. I am looking to move myself and my boys to the Mariposa/Midpines/Oakhurst area looking for some property for my Animals so Rural. Any info in this area for high Schools ? Also Crime,shopping etc etc I would appreciate this. We live up in the Mountains at this time a few hours North of Mariposa But due to Divorce we are having to move and I LOVE life in the Mountains.. Thanks In Advanced... Barbara
