coronary artery disease and heart failure

Posted 09-24-2017 at 11:38 PM by myrc60

You'll notice I don't like the shift key!

Diagnosed with heart failure in April 2017, learned I needed coronary artery bypass surgery in May. On the mend now but not getting the results my cardiologist hoped for from this surgery. More may be in my future. This was my first surgery; I suspect it won't be my last. Thanks, late hubby, for not listening to me with regards to our diet. I suffer today because of it!

The thrill of victory...

Competition. If you're old enough you can visualize that ski jumper wiping out and still hear the rest of the phrase "The agony of defeat". (if you're young, google it)

I went camping last night. And plenty of competition was to be had.

We have a rather small tent. This is only our 2nd camping trip (besides sleeping on the beach in Hawaii but that's a whole 'nother blog entry!). So we were assigned a site that was... meh? But they gave us an alternate for comparison....
