Too Bad D/FW Didn't Try This Idea Before

They've never done it before. And they still haven't. Dallas-Fort Worth's media market has never had a local, 24-hour news channel on cable.

Oh, they've once had Texas Cable News, but that was more of a state effort by the company formerly known as Belo. And we've seen Houston with an actual 24/7 local news channel on broadcast television some twenty years ago (Remember KNWS-TV, Channel 51, as it used to be?). Never got to see much of it, but I heard it...

Is is that time again? By golly, I do believe so. I've got some more Scattershooting for all to read right here on City-Data, where it's great to be alive. And even the Easter Bunny is about ready to bring eggs to all the good kiddos out there, but only if he can survive crossing Interstate 95.
