Tips for Finding a Lost Dog or Cat

Posted 01-20-2019 at 10:48 AM by allcritterspetcare

As a pet owner, I canít think of anything more frightening than the thought of a lost cat or dog. The fact is that 15% of pet owners report having lost a cat or dog sometime in the past 5 years. Of those pets, about 93% of dogs and 74% of cats eventually find their way home safely. Taking a few precautionary steps early on and also getting an immediate start once something happens can help to increase these odds.

Scattershooting / Perhaps I Should Jinx Alabama-Clemson

Posted 01-20-2019 at 10:20 AM by case44 (Welcome To Case's Column)

Ever have lots of thoughts go through your mind? I do, especially every time I get another urge to do some Scattershooting, right here on Case's Column, neatly tucked in on City-Data, where it's great to be alive. Well, fasten your seatbelts as we take off for another computer rouser. This proves once again that "Here, There, And Everywhere" isn't just simply an old Beatles tune.

Getting Started in LA

Posted 01-20-2019 at 08:59 AM by JoCon99z

I am moving from a busy Atlanta. I am in my late 40s and spouse retired. I am very curious about how hard it is to live in California. I am a Registered Nurse and hoping to move there this summer. I see lovely neighborhoods outside LA to live that are 35-55 miles away from the hospital I am looking to work. It looks like they are buliding the neighborhoods outide and apparently people are excepting to live a long distance. I will be working a morning shift.
Is this a difficult mile zone....
