Posted 03-31-2019 at 10:55 PM by arcindheal

Bone marrow transplant is the treatment for many types of carcinoma (like blood
and bone marrow cancers) and non-cancerous diseases like sickle cell anemia,
thalassemia, multiple sclerosis etc. The procedure involves extraction of healthy

extracted bone marrow into the patientís body through an intra-venous line.

From the donorís perspective: Contrary to the popular belief, bone...

I Wouldn't Have Imagined This If I Were A Betting Man

Posted 03-31-2019 at 07:33 PM by case44 (Welcome To Case's Column)

In the game of baseball, you just never know what's going to happen. So, when I trudged on down to Austin to watch some more Texas Longhorn baseball (as my second trip down in two weeks), I'm not so sure if anyone would have ever expected today's outcome to end up like it did.

We'll come back to this in a minute. The Horns had the lead for most of the game and then had a dramatic comeback in the bottom of the ninth after losing the lead in the eighth. The two previous...

Daily Meditations And Affirmations - 281

Posted 03-31-2019 at 07:24 PM by Albert Finch (How Do I Advance My Spiritual Life?)

Luke 17:20,21 - And when He was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, He answered them and said, "The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you."

Many are caught in the vicious cycle of defeat, circling around the valleys of despair and can't seem to find their way out.

Many have been oppressed by the enemy for a prolonged period of time. It's been many years and many seasons of great grief and loss. You've been under such a weight of the enemy you couldn't...

Jefferson: Intrigue In An East Texas Town

Posted 03-29-2019 at 08:21 PM by case44 (Welcome To Case's Column)

This small town in the Ark-La-Tex region of East Texas got a visit from me very recently. It was my real first time to pay attention to such a quaint little burg.

Jefferson, Texas, is a quiet place if you want to do a day getaway. In my case, it was a brief getaway from.........well, Tyler. But I digress. What I really got from that historic community were two general stores, and I got to step into one of them for some Blue Bell cookies-n-cream ice cream....
