Broken tiles on the roof

The important thing to know about tile roof systems is that they require ongoing maintenance. Over time, tiles will crack and move. The problem with this is that the waterproof underlayment under the tiles is exposed to the sunlight. The ultraviolet radiation in the sunlight will degrade the underlayment.
