Luke 14:28 - "For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it?"

The parable of the man building a tower is a continuation of the teaching regarding what it takes to be a disciple of Jesus -- this parable stresses commitment. It takes a forsaking of all to be Jesus' disciple.

Revelation 19:14 - "And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses."

In this passage, a wonderful picture is painted of the armies of Heaven following Christ into battle. These armies have been washed in the Blood of the lamb. These are the souls of the departed saints that are going to return with Christ when He invades this world and destroys the armies of darkness.

If America is going to maintain its comeback as the world's number one superpower and one that is respected again by our allies, then conservatives and Republicans (and I dare include many independents and former Democrats) need to get busy and not be complacent.
