Tonight, it was time to take my mother out for dinner. A special occasion of sorts, since it was her birthday. She may have slowed down because age isn't kind later in life, but if you looked at her face, then you'd swear she hadn't gotten past 50.
Mother turned 87 today. And she still kids around with folks at her church. She'd actually tell them that she's 38 if that eternal question ever got asked. My, what any of us would give to be 38 again. Imagine...
