Tax Credit expands to homeowners and First Time Home Buyers

Governement has tentativley reached an agreement that is going to extend the First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit and expand to include Homeowners who are going to sell their home. Details of this agreement have not as of yet been released in full but it is believed that the $8000 tax credit to first time homebuyers will be extended to the end of June and now sellers will be entitled to a tax credit of $6500 for selling their home and buying another home.

We have all seen it a nice clean house with beautiful colors...a room with a mounted flat screen perfect for viewing the phillies run at another championship...and you just want to sit and watch when you trip over "it"....and there "it" is a proverbial rats nest of wires, cables, computers etc...that just perplexes any potential new homeonwer to say...what is all this...am I going to have to deal with this.

Although the above maybe a exagerated excerpt from a showing....most...

Recently I read an article from RISMEDIA tilted "Have we hit bottom - 10 Factors to Consider" and in this article they covered the following 10 factors signaling a bottoming of the real estae market.
1. A spike in local sales activity. A spike refers to a significant rise in the number of home sales (or values) in a local market area, which generally is measured month to month. A spike does not necessarily mean continued growth, i.e. it could be a one month phenomenon.

Despite the slide in the real estate market over the last year, the spring and coming summer marketplace has provided some much anticipated optimism from buyers. With this optimism, real estate agents will tell you that activity is building with showings, prequals, buyers consultations and even....yes....Listing Consultations. Although the main word in still is "ACTIVITY" there is certainly an air of recovery on certain levels about the Lehigh Valley Housing Market.

There is no doubt that the market has many sellers/homeowners rethinking the presentation of their home. Adding the extra POP to a home definitly can seperate your home from all other competing homes in the marketplace...and having a buyer leave a series of showings with your home on the mind is definitly a huge PLUS.

So how does one go about setting a house off without investing much money or rebuying furniture for a whole house???? Well most of the homes that POP have a great color...
