My days are usually uneventful. I spend most of my time using my laptop and reading posts on City-Data.

I noticed there is an option to host my own blog and I decided to write about what I do all day.

Here it is!

The Andy Griffith Show

Posted 05-26-2022 at 04:43 PM by Quantumly (What I Do All Day. Everyday.)

I watch The Andy Griffith Show almost every day. I like black and white TV. mainly because the times were simpler back then and because I am reminded of days gone by.

The town I grew up in was small with only a couple of traffic lights downtown. Crime was unheard of and if someone needed to into a neighbors' house, the door was always unlocked. Even if no one was at home.

Sometimes the story line is not interesting and if Earnest T Bass is featured, I immediately...

A Harris Teeter Ad on TV

Posted 05-26-2022 at 05:41 AM by Quantumly (What I Do All Day. Everyday.)

I Love Harris Teeter.

A TV ad for Harris Teeter is on TV and every time I see it, I get misty inside. I Love shopping there. The layout, the items, the customers and (at certain times of the day, the prices, are good.

This has always been my favorite store and I shop there regularly. In Charlotte, NC, the Harris Teeter on Central Ave is the best. The store is less than five years old and they designed it with the customer in mind.

I Have Decided to Donate Some of My Clothes

Posted 05-25-2022 at 01:39 PM by Quantumly (What I Do All Day. Everyday.)

I have always been fiercely loyal to getting new clothes but, I don't pay the retail price for them. My favorite way to shop is at thrift stores, of all kinds. I look for new items with the tag and like-new items.

Once, I purchased a pair of (real) leather pants, price tag of $170, for only $1 dollar. When I shop, which is often, I come home with more than $200 worth of clothes for no more than $15.

But, enough is enough. It is time to give some of my treasures away...

Coffee Is Good For You. Again.

Posted 05-24-2022 at 08:28 PM by Quantumly (What I Do All Day. Everyday.)

I saw a report on the news today that coffee is good for you. Again. I remember a report a few years ago that said coffee was not good for the body and the skin. This and other negative reports made many people stop drinking it.

Now, we are told it is OK to drink coffee, up to four cups per day, and it is healthy. I can't really believe someone who tell me that coffee, from a coffee bean that grows from the ground is bad for me and that same person want me to believe it is OK to

I Went to My Doc. Appointment Today

Posted 05-24-2022 at 02:22 PM by Quantumly (What I Do All Day. Everyday.)

I went to bed relatively early last night so I would not sleep through my 7AM alarm. My appointment was at 1030 and I konw I need at least an hour to get started.

It was just a routine check-up and I passed.

Last week I had a serious tooth infection and had to go to the dentist once and the emergency room twice. My entire right side was swollen so bad, my eye was completely shut and the pain was unbearable.

After two kinds of penicillin and a...
