Ah, Such a beautiful day in the Poconos.
Living on the crest of a mountain is just a joy........I might add except when the winter snow flakes fly, or ice forms on the drive from one of those blustery storms.
Way up here, there is a great view all around. Fields, farms, mountain ranges...everything nice and green.

I started a new album of old pictures and things past.........because as we move forward.......all those things become endearing to our hearts.

CNN had a show today with T. Boone Pickens. Mr Pickens is and oil man billionaire, but is also an entrepreneur and philanthropist....( getting up there in age also as he is 80 something)
He suggests to "save ourselves" we need to use our OWN resources Natural Gas and Wind Power.........he stated " Dependence on Foreign oil is killing our economy"
Wind power...........A clean and renewable stable energy, is the answer for our future.
Using Wind Power to provide...

Did you ever loose a beloved pet?
I am sad thinking back at this loss.
I think it is because it was this exact time last year that we put our Lhasa to rest.
I watched my husband climb to the top of the crest of the hill....so very upset, digging her final resting place.
It sat there, just an open hole for awhile for awhile........because we couldn't take that last needed step.

When it was over, I carried her in my arms, blanket around her to keep her "warm"........As...

Happiness is found in the heart and the soul.......and the laughter within will never grow old.

Happy is found in the breath of fresh air, in a mountain majestic, and a trail that leads there.....

In a breeze at the ocean ,as you walk thru the sand. In a Sea shell thats gathered itself in your hand........

I understand from CNN today that we do have a Jatropha Bean farm out West. As a matter of fact a bus load of financiers took a ride out there to see this alternative fuel.
Jatroph, in India, is the green seed of change.
This plant produces very large green seeds, that when processed as in India..... it becomes a fuel!
India took 13 million acres of wasteland and is using it for Jatropha production.........
Why is it that so many countries are ahead of us in wise future thinking...
