Water is a great beverage!

EVERY time I see a water drinking fountain I MUST stop and get a drink from it thirsty or not!

When I was in basic, the first day off the "cattle cars" the drill sergeants made us all get on our hands and knees in the blistering hot sun in Fort Polk Louisiana and pick up trash and cigarette butts that I now swear had to have been planted there. We had our duffel bags strapped to our backs while we performed this detail.

The drill Sergeant then filed us all inside...

My time

Being a very busy man in the midwestern part of the country, I try to have fun with my dear wife and grandkids. It is tough sometimes though due to "works" as one of my grandsons call my jobs. Aren't kids something else though!I enjoy my pigeons too. Oh, yeah, I have 8 pet pigeons. Sure, I have a couple of great dogs, but pigeons are pretty cool to have around. Well, this is my first every "blog". I will try and add more later.
