Final Thoughts

Posted 11-06-2008 at 12:36 PM by linicx
OBAMA WON.

I promised myself i would avoid politics but I can't. It's in my blood, and after 22-months of the longest, most expensive, most historical campaign in American history, and a new page in the Administration of American government I still don't know what to think because of mean spirited, devisive comments, calling fellow Americans to fight our new President. It seems like waiting never stops

We begin life waiting for someone to feed us and we end life waiting to die. Now the grass is starting to die and I am waiting for the trees to bring their cheerful fall colors to our otherwise dreary wet days. Onetta died yesterday. The four bous and three girls have been whittled down to two of each.

There has to be something ironic about the oldest outliving the youngest and the sickest outliving the healthiest - especially when they are all over seventy.

Family gene legacy speak volumes. All of the boys had heart surgery. Two have lung diseases; one died. The sister that died had a lung disease. One of the boys and one of the girls have the same eye disease. One boy...

News

My daughter had a proceedure Wednesday that opened the blockage and :straightened out the kink" that was causing the blockage in her bowels. She's out of the woods for today and she sounds much better.

She has what is called a "short gut". It was caused by radiation. Apparently the short gut is not such an uncommon result of lower body radiation and it is not easy to predict.

Yesterday the sister-in-law was still on the ventilator. The family was told...
