Sarasota subdivisions

Posted 04-18-2009 at 08:07 AM by Sammy654
Hi,
Could someone tell me how close to 75 Arbor Trace, Colonial oaks, Paddocks and Summerwood subdivisions are? Do you hear the traffic? On the map, they look very close. Also, my daughter wants to attend a medical college but she does not want to live on campus, what would be the closest medical college to the Sarasota/Venice area.
Thank you so much for your help.

Are there any areas with newer homes, 2006+, $250-$275 closer to the water than Lakewood Ranch? Thanks!

Moving to Sarasota versus Naples, Florida

Posted 07-29-2008 at 06:44 AM by Sammy654
We are wanting to move to Florida but have not pinpointed what city/town to live in yet and it is very confusing. We live in the midwest and would like to be in a newer home in Florida, about 1800-2000 sqft, 3-4 bdrms, w/pool around 250-275. We would like an area that is kept up and fairly close to the water/beaches/marina. It sounds like Ft. Myers may be more fast paced than we would like and that Punta Gorda might be slower than we would like. Anyone have info to offer? Crime and schools are also...
