Relocating to Atlanta

My husband and I are interested in relocating from Alabama/Lake Martin area. I will be seeking employment in the medical field and he in constrution. Prefer an area NE or NW of the city.Any suggestions re affordale housing and jobs? Also would love to do a housing swap? Anyone interested in relocating to our area pls e-mail me Thank you
