UPDATE: RIP OFF REPORT: United Way

Posted 08-26-2008 at 05:34 PM by anifani821 (Journeys on the Yellow Brick Road)

The United Way Board members have decided the way to quell the anger and disgust that Charlotte (and surrounding area) citizens have expressed is by FIRING the President/CEO, Gloria Pace.

How totally inane! The Board approved the ridiculous compensation package . . . and they are gonna fire the CEO . . . Great management, guys. I see a case study in the making.

Macs are the haven for people who like "work arounds"...

I guess the headline says it all, but for those who would like to read more . . .

http://www.wcnc.com/news/local/stori....402b3c5e.html

I find this outrageous . . . and am incensed that the money people give to UW would be diluted this much by inappropriate salaries.

So that is my RIP OFF REPORT of the day. Where is Mike Wallace when you need him?????
