Sygogoling

I grew up in the Blue Ridge Mts. and quite commonly heard (heared) a couple of words that I haven't heard anywhere else. One of the words was sygogoling, although I am not sure about the spelling. The other was spizeranctum, again I am unsure about the spelling. I have looked for it on the net but have not been able to locate it.
I always thought I knew what these meant when I was a child.
I would like to ask if anyone in the East Tenn. area remembers...
