Almost single...would like to relocate from NY to CT. Was wondering if you could tell me of a safe neighborhood that is single friendly with it's own village/town....definitely do not want to be a single in the midst of a very family oriented environment. Something a little upscale and well groomed but not completely crazy with taxes. Thanks

Almost Single and would like to know which neighborhoods in Connecticut are upscale, well kept, safe and single-friendly and yet not soooo expensive with taxes. A neighborhood with it's own village/town, friendly and a little bit country. Am I asking for way too much?
