It's back on the campaign trail for a new job, since my pursuit of a Certificate in Accountancy is failed. I had some sad feelings about it, but knew I had to drop out -- that, alone, caused a LOT of sadness. (What would my mother think, if she was still alive? No doubt, disappointment. It seemed to be her prevailing sentiment where I was concerned -- or so it often seemed. Of all my memories, I recall her set face, tight lipped, turned from me in silence.)

Anyway, I dropped the two...

I just got a peek at my syllabus for ONE of the three classes this quarter, and am trying not to hyperventilate.

It certainly isn't starting out slow... and the first assignments are due by the 2nd. If the other two classes are similar, I won't be seeing my C-D friends until quarter finishes on 12-12.

Wait! Isn't that supposed to be the end of the world?

It's been nice hangin' with all of you. If I don't see...

This morning as I was waking up over my game of freecell, DH told me the news about our Libyan ambassador. I searched CD and found nothing yet said, but by the time I posted an entry there was already a thread with 37 other entries. Apparently we are just burning for another squabble in our lives, because the entries I read were all hostile.

So much hostility everywhere. Of Course I do not agree with the attack on our embassy. What I find so saddening is how we've made it yet one...

Practicing gratitude has enriched my life in so many aspects, and that includes my friendships. Rather than letting my mind be over-wrought with petty concerns, I can focus on the person I am with and truly appreciate what they bring to my life. That includes my C-D friends, too.
