My husband says my idea of heaven might be "always Christmas." Indeed, there is a local Christmas store which was named that before they changed their name to something less memorable...which I can't remember now! So needless to say...I kinda like the Christmas season.

Oh sure, Christmas has it's downside and negatives with the oft mentioned commercialization, the crowds, the traffic, disappointments, dashed expectations, possible family conflicts, potential loneliness,...

Happy Fall, Ya'll !!!

Posted 09-22-2008 at 02:01 PM by kaykay
Well, today is officially the first day of Autumn. I love Fall! My favorite season without a doubt. I'm waiting for my friend, ai-angel_writer to write a blog about Fall (which she has promised me she will do soon!) She has such a wonderfully descriptive writing style, I'm sure it will be glorious. In the meantime, however, I decided to write my own "Fall Blog."

aahh...Fridays

Posted 07-11-2008 at 05:34 PM by kaykay
Friday's my favorite day of the week. If you work, I don't have to explain to you why. There's just something about a good Friday night... It has the greatest distance to Monday morning! Friday you can kick back. For me, I'm too old and conservative to "party hardy!" But I'm a nightowl! I love the fact that I can stay up as late as I want on Friday night!( Of course, I can ANY night & sometimes do, but I will pay the next day!) I can stay up late reading, "foruming"...

Hang up the phone?

I guess a blog gives you a personal soapbox so to speak about whatever topic strikes your fancy! THAT'S SCARY! LOL!

I was just thinking today about cellphones and driving ... or more precisely, using our cellphones while we drive. We found out Saturday that a friend of ours was just involved in a car accident. She and their younger son were bunged up a little, the car almost totaled but thankfully, no one seriously injured. The culprit-- a cell phone. The person who hit...
