For the Weather junkie: How was your weather today?

Posted 07-12-2008 at 09:43 PM by aiangel_writer
It was hot today! One of the most humid and hot days of the year if not the most. It was one of those days where you go outside and wheeze as you are trying to breathe. Yet, it didn't start out that way...

I awakened and made a pot of coffee, took my cut out to the front porch, ready to get my day off to a good start. A slight breeze was blowing and the temp was quite pleasant.

Baa I thought, the weather man had to be wrong today, it was not going to be THAT hot! ...

Taking Stock...and enjoying a rare time of reflection...

Posted 07-09-2008 at 09:41 PM by aiangel_writer
Here it is, after 9 pm once again. My goodness, where did the day go? It should just now be 7 or so.

Come to think of it, I can't believe it is already July. Before I know it 2008 will be gone!

Earlier this evening, before the sun set, I was on my front porch watching the birds eating and playing. No squirrel today, but maybe tomorrow I thought.

A nice rain shower earlier had cooled down the temps and a slight westerly breeze was billowing through the...

Dream Home...does it exist?

Posted 07-09-2008 at 08:25 PM by aiangel_writer
I've been pouring over house plan books for years, but it has turned serious this past month.

We are ready to move onto some land we have a few miles from our current home.

The land is higher elevation, private and will have enough yard for several areas such as flowers, gardening, cooking out, and sunning.

My problem is a house that I like from plans, not having to change anything. I have yet found such a plan! Sigh.

Pop, pow, sssssssstow...

Posted 07-04-2008 at 09:57 PM by aiangel_writer
It's late evening and most all my neighbors have had dinner. It's time for the kids, both young and old to come out and play. This year, they can play without the threat of burning down something as it rained a whole bunch today.

I hear the pop, the whine and whistle and pow of fireworks from neighboring houses all around me. I bet if I step outside, I can smell the acrid smoke that always accompanies them.

Their noise reminded me of the song, The Star Spangled Banner...

Poll: What would you guys like to see in a blog?

I have read a few blogs, and they are great. Some are true stories of life from yesteryear to now. And some are observations of life and likes and dislikes.

I got to wondering what people are looking for when they come on here to see and read a blog.

So, without further ado, please tell me, what do you want to read when reading blogs?

I wont' give you multiple choice, as I truly want to see YOUR first thoughts.

Have a nice day...aiangel...
