After having gotten -- once again -- excited when the adventure of Monday turned up another FSBO that would have fit our budget, even if not a particularly good fit in the infrastructure department, last night left me, once again, singing "Another one Bites the Dust."

But I get ahead of myself.

The house had a FSBO sign with name and phone number and I called... and called again... and yesterday morning he returned the call. Yeah, of course he would... on...

I was stressed yesterday by the news that one of my favorite sons-in-law had been rushed to the hospital, unconscious, from work, and I spent a considerable amount of time doing a Working for him in sacred space. The report is good, he apparently...

Y'all are likely going to get tired of reading my raps about the cool mornings, but you have to realize that I am still in awe of Maine's climate. After all, other than a brief winter in the NC mountains, I had been in the south -- in places where "summer" is a 9-month event -- since 1998 when I moved from Portland, OR to Austin TX.

So yeah, I am sitting here in Milo, Maine with all my doors and windows open and wearing SWEATS at present. Taking out the trash and hanging...
