First time home buyers taking advantage of tax credit

Posted 10-11-2009 at 01:08 PM by chianti1976

During the past few months I've seen a real increase in the number of closings I've had related to the first time buyer tax credit.

Whether I listed the property or worked with the buyer directly, this group of buyers has truly been given a gift, and many of them know it and have already benefitted from purchasing a new home and receiving their credit for $8000.

Because my niche happens to be the first time buyer, I've truly enjoyed working with them on finding housing these past few months because of the added financial support they will have to make improvements to their home.

Oftentimes first time buyers find themselves between a rock and a hard spot when the homes they qualify for are in much need of repair.

Now with this new tax credit they are sure to overcome unforeseen expenses and will settle well into their new home!
