Today I took my kiddos out to play at a favorite fast food place that has had power up for a week so it was safe to eat there. They played and I chatted with my buddies. Next door I noticed another mother and just asked her about her power--no, not up yet! UGH!!! I felt so bad for her. She is just hanging out there in the a/c for a while before heading back to her hot house. I also called my good friend who also does not have power yet. I wish my home was big enough and they could all come home with me. I know how it feels and it is not fun!!! I wish I had 2 separate wings where they could live without being disturbed and have their own bathrooms, kitchenette, and bedroom.
