I figured I'd try something new here since I'm a virgin blogger!!
See!! You CAN teach an old dog new tricks!!
Since this has the capacity to be seen by a lotta people, I figured I'd blog on a synapsis of my life & what my philosophy of life is.
I was born & raised in a Catholic family as an only child on the upper east side of Manhattan. My family was kinda poor, so I didn't have a lot of material possessions & almost all of our clothes & my toys came from Salvation Army, thrift shops or Woolworth's. My dad couldn't boil water, so my mom started to teach me to cook at age 6 (hence my love of cooking).
At age 16, we moved out of Manhattan to upstate N.Y. to a house my parents built (my dad was forced to retire after a massive heart attack). At age 18 my dad died of a 2nd heart attack & I went off into management to make money to keep us & the house afloat.
During my 20's & 30's, I was in the music business playing the Tri-State area & N.Y.C., recording, & doing T.V. & radio appearances. The music was wonderful & exciting, but unfortunately, the music "business" is 90% business & after 13 years of it I decided to call it a day.
In 1999 I moved to Florida & took my mom with me instead of putting her in a home. In 2005 I quit my job as a landscape designer & stayed home 24/7 to care for her since she was bed-ridden & dying of cancer. She passed away in 2007 & now I'm starting a new life again & will be searching for a new career soon.
That's about it with the "Reader's Digest" condensed edition of Jungle George's life so far, & now on to my philosophy on life in general...next blog...

Yet Another Video...

Who says I don't do things whole-heartedly???
Here's yet another video I did today for another song from my last album...
This one's called "Desire" & I wrote it one night in N.Y.C. We had played a gig & decided to finish the night off at a bar & there was this girl there who was after our lead guitarist...
Well, I just sat back & watched as she pulled out "every trick in the book" & he sat there in lust...I mean love...
It was like a lamb to the slaughter!!
Again, due to the many "bounces" of the recording, the sound quality is a bit off...but...
I hope y'all enjoy!!
