My boyfriend, I and my daughter are planning on moving to Johnson City area sometime next fall We are an retired couple and my daughter is in her 30's. Love being near the water so would like to know about any lakes in JC area. Also would like to know if there are any family diners and or cafeterias in the area. Will be visiting sometime early next year to get a feel of the area. Thank anyone for there help. :)

JC is a beautiful area
I have a sister and brother in-law that live in Elizabethton, TN and it is beautiful. I personally like Mountain City better. The people seem friendly and the city is not to big. We live in Largo , FL and hope to move th TN in a few years. Any luck with finding property? I enjoy hunting but find property prices are high in that area.
