Love boats? West Sayville's Long Island Maritime Museum is hosting a Nautical Festival that features vintage and classic boats and engines. Lots of new boats as well will be on exhibit. There will be regattas and more. Classic and antique boat clubs from Long Island bring some lovingly restored boats from years gone by that are glorious to behold! See some neat vessels you won't ordinarily ever see out on the Great South Bay make it special.
While you are at the Museum Grounds, do check out their own boat exhibit building seperate from the main main museum building - there are some really neat boats that sailed out in our Bay. And personally, I love the local shellfish history exhibit builiding - so if they have it open for this event, don't miss it!
After the show, do stop into Sayville for lunch or dinner and pay a visit to our lovely boutiques and shops!
