If you are relocating to the MGC; also known as the Mississippi Gulf Coast, the MS Gulf Coast--your timing is great.

If you need specific assistance in locating a home to buy, sell, lease or rent--email me. We will see if we are compatible for working together during this important time of your life.

Without a doubt, there are some excellent buys here. Rental rates even without Gov programs are much lower than immediately pre-Katrina. I think part of the reason for that was that many landlords realized they had to compete with the Gov programs to get any renters--unless they were in the luxury market.

The following links are excellent to get your orientation. I also suggest that if you are an out of state seller or landlord that you visit these links as well so you will have a broad picture of your competition.

I'm planning to relocate to the coast and am trying to get a feeling of the character of the towns from bay st. louis to ocean springs. Have a retired husband, and 10 year old daughter. Currently live in North MS. Any help would be appreciated. Glo

My husband and I recently visited the gulf coast, from Waveland all across Mississippi and over to Panama City Fl. We seriously are considering relocating to the Miss. coast. We loved it there. Can anyone give us any advice as far as the pros & cons? We realize there are hurricanes but the housing seems reasonable, there are jobs everywhere, and we love the weather.
