Feedback on Warwick RI?

We're newlyweds considering a move from rural Southeastern Mass for a great house we've found in Warwick RI. We don't know the west bay well. We're not homeowners yet and we're priced out of what seem to be the more desirable towns with better schools in the region. We expect to have children in 2-4 years but won't likely have the resources for private schools. We both work in Providence. Does anyone have any feedback on life in Warwick, particularly the Greenwood/Apponaug area? We'd be in a suburban stretch which seems fine but the surrounding areas are hard to read and the school reviews are so mixed. Thx
