Fun Activites for the Holiday Season: The Luxe Showhome

Hey everyone,
So Christmas is only two months away, and the economy continues to tank. I heard on NPR this morning that nonprofits and charities are having a harder time than ever trying to find donors to keep their programsg going.
With this in mind, I thought I'd pass on a fun yet philanthropic holiday opportunity: touring the Luxe Showhome in Prestonwood Hollow.
I visited it (while it was still under construction) last week and I was blown away. It's absolutely exquisite! I've never seen anything quite like it, except maybe in the elaborate mansions in Spain and Italy. Best of all, during these hard times, all of the funds that are raised will go to help sick children in the Dallas metroplex during a really difficult time.
Anyway, I loved it and I thought that you might enjoy the experience too.
Here's the info:The Luxe Showhome is an exquisite piece of architecture, almost entirely handcrafted, from the world's finest materials. It ranks as the most expensive house built in Dallas (over $15 million dollars). The entire home will be furnished by the best designers, making the tour a one-of-a-kind experience. Proceeds benefit the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and The Junior League of Dallas.
Tour Times:November 13 - December 14, 2008
Thursday - Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.Sunday, 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.
