Wines for Humanity

Posted 10-30-2008 at 06:53 PM by Scarlettnite
Hi,

My name is Angela and I'm brand new to blogging so I hope I do this right. I have started a job with a company called Wines for Humanity. What I do is in home wine tastings and it raises monies for the prevention of homelessness. I also look for others that would like to do this. There's a couple states that won't let us ship wine in. But, it's such a cool job! We've got around 200 exclusive wines and a lot of them are award winners. They're also from all over the world.
I've never been a wine drink...nor a drinker for that matter. So, I've been learning a ton about wine and want to learn more. So, if anyone has suggestions, they'd be appreciated. And if I can help anyone I'd be more than happy to do what I can.
I've seen on here that there are people looking for new things to do. Maybe this would interested you or someone you know!
If anyone is interested in this blog at all, I could possibly start adding tasting notes, historical type facts about the wines. Just let me know by answering!!

Does anyone have any health factors to add? I've been reading a lot and finding that they believe that red wines (in moderation of course) are helping to reduce the chances of several kinds of cancer, leveling sugar levels of diabetics, helping with weight loss, anti-aging and a lot more. Let me know if there's interested for any of these articles!
