Thought I would try this feature out . . .

Funny. I always seem to have plenty to say when responding to a post, but can't think of much to say when facing this blank page.

How 'bout that.

I'll pass along some advice given to me when I began blogging about 3 years ago (not on CD), A blog is what you put into it. For it to be a place on the world wide web, it won't write itself.

Vacation, hobbies, family, kids, it can be anything you'd like, but a word of caution, try not to be too personal, it is after all still the world wide web.

    Hope this helps.

It's called a brain freeze, Ani! You're used to seeing something already as a post and it's easy enough to respond to especially the totally ludicrous ones! But when you have to start from scratch, well now that's a little bit more difficult.

I tell you what...why don't you blog what you are going to do with that new camera of yours, huh?

Hey, FedupWNY! Great suggestions and I am sure, totally on target!!! I think maybe I will use the blog to expand on things that are being posted on C-D elsewhere. There are times I have more to say and just don't - or when I want to veer slightly off topic and can't.

Good advice about the personal side of things . . . it is easy to forget that - even tho we feel a sense of community here w/ our fellow posters on C-D - it is still available "out there" for anyone to read . . .

    Thanks for the suggestions!

    Hey, Miss Bibit!

So nice to see you posting on my newly inaugurated Blog, LOL.

Yes, starting from scratch is difficult, it seems. As a writer, I am always given assignments, or I think up an article I want to write . . . and then dig in. On something like this Blog . . . well . . . not much I have to say about my own world, I guess!

But your idea about what I am going to do w/ the new camera . . . I can surely talk about that! And I look forward to sharing w/ you my pix as I go thru/ the learning curve w/ a new piece of equipment!!!

Thanks for dropping into my space here!!!
