Take a look at Greenlake, Phiney Ridge, Queen Ann and Capitol Hill if work is downtown. West Seattle is good too but the commute can be tough. Our daughter lives there and works in Wallingford. (off hours though so the commute is OK).Posted 01-18-2011 at 06:53 PM by Ken Wendland

So sorry I haven't gotten back to your comment... Thank you so much... My employer has put a hold on transfers for now but might be taking a look through the real estate online in that area.Posted 02-02-2011 at 01:30 AM by naturesdreams

Oh! Check out Metropolitan Tower in downtown Seattle! It is a Great Location and you can walk to everything!!! If I remember they have a really good web-site that shows lots about their apartments!
I had a friend that lived there and I had so much fun whenever I would visit, the fitness room has everything you would ever want. and they even have a pool and hot tub!

Work hasn't been hiring in Seattle yet... I'm still wanting the move but waiting on Management... I am starting to consider just moving directly to Alaska... just need to find a job... of course figure out WHERE in Alaska... depends right now on my first visit there and what happens... I am hoping for my guardian angel to come through for me.... LOL
