Stop Me If You’ve Heard This One Before

Though this is my first time posting to CDF, I think from now on I am going to name my blogs after song titles, especially if they are relevant.

This one comes from The Smiths.

The only person I know who still listens to The Smiths is my tattoo artist in Yuba City.

His taste in music was about as good as mine! hahaha

Anyhow, there is this scream that is in pretty much every action movie there is.

I heard it for the fourth time today while watching Return of the Jedi.

I first heard it today when I took the kids to see Kung Fu Panda.

I also heard it a week or so ago when I saw the latest and greatest Indiana Jones movie.

The name of the scream (as per Wikipedia) is the Wilhelm Scream.

I am not going to retype the work product, so here is a link for the article.

The article contains a sound byte of the scream.

Once you hear it, you will say out loud...ohhhhhhhhhhhh.
