Moving to KCMO

Please I need advice as to where we should start looking for our new home. We are not interested in "upscale" neighborhoods, we just want a good school district, we have a 3rd & 4th grader. Sports and facilities available (YMCA), etc. My husband will work on the KS side and we heard that KCK is not the town for us. Please advise, we are moving forward very quickly and our realistic budget can't be over 150k. We just don't live beyond our means..... Mr. KCMO I'll be looking for you to help!
