Who Knew? Mesa, AZ is becoming a College Mecca...

Posted 09-20-2012 at 04:35 PM by Property Cupid

Mesa, AZ has really been working to change it's image by attracting five colleges to the city this year. Yes, 5! They already had Mesa Community College and ASU's Polytechnic campus in town so this really increases the academic choices for east valley residents.
The five newcomers include:
  • Albright College of Reading, PA which is now offering classes in Mesa's Fiesta district.
  • Benedictine University, Lisle, IL is not open yet but has a recruiting center at 51 E. Main St. Mesa.
  • Upper Iowa University, Fayette, IA will begin classes next month, October, at 1025 N. Country Club Dr.
  • Wilkes University, Wilkes Barre, PA will start classes in 2013.
  • Westminster College, Fulton, MO plans to open to students in 2013.
This is a terrific accomplishment for Mesa city leaders and will be a great opportunity to many students in the Phoenix valley.
