The Agony of Writing

I have thoughts and words inside of me that MUST get out!

I literally have thousands of stories from my 75 years on this earth that I want - no need - to tell.

The problem is: how?

Writing them down is of course the answer. But, when they're written down, how does one share them?

I've self-published a number of novels and short stories but have yet to find the secret to letting others know about them.

I've gone the route of dealing with a publisher for a series of books on the history of the California missions.

But, again there's no publicity - nothing to garner people's interests, and they're are not getting out to the general public.

So, where do I turn next?

I have yet another story inside of me burning to get out and I envision a large group of people wanting to know about it. But, how do I get it to them?

Lord but I wish I had an answer.

So, it's back to the drudgery of proofing the latest novel my publisher sent with the sinking feeling that it will just be yet another gathering dugs - if that is possible - on the internet.
