Possible Relocation to Norfolk

Posted 09-01-2014 at 10:46 AM by franmisty

I am thinking about relocating to the Norfolk area. I am not familiar with the area and am inquiring about the best part of Norfolk to reside for a single female. I would be looking to rent an apartment and would need to be within walking distance of a grocery store, drug store and bank, etc.

Someone suggested the area of Bay View, but I could not locate any apartments there for rent on line. Can anyone shed any list on this area or any other area that you would feel safe in walking especially for everyday activities.

I would also be interested in being in an area where you could do volunteer work and also talk adult education classes.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
