How to deal with the establishment Republican Party

Posted 12-14-2014 at 12:20 AM by dechatelet

As shown by the recent Republican cave-in to Democrats (after having won the last election of all things), it is clear that Tea Party conservatives have been ineffective in countering the Chamber of Commerce/Wall Street Republicans who dominate the Republican Party and who have complete and utter contempt for the American middle class.

What should Tea Party leaders do?

They need to move from the grass roots to a higher level of organization within the Republican Party.

They should have centralized coordination on a national basis and find ways to get enough funding to challenge Establishment Republicans in primaries (as well as go after Democrats.)

TV campaign ads are the most effective way to spend that money, as well as using social media for voter outreach.

The Tea Party should not form a third political party as yet. That would just siphon off Republican votes and Democrats would win.

The battle needs to be between Republicans, so that the party will change from within.

The mainstream media will go into hysterics over this, but that raises another issue. Liberal newspapers are on their last legs in this country, which should present an opportunity for media alternatives. Are there any deep pocketed conservatives who could provide major funding? That possibility needs to be explored.

Will any of this happen? That ultimately depends on the Democrats and the Establishment Republicans, who are destroying the middle class.

I have always said that the best argument for voting Republican is the action of Democrats. I would add that the best argument for voting for a true conservative (Tea Party) Republican is the action of Establishment Republicans.

The mainstream media has covered for the Democrats. The Democrats in their turn have been tactically clever in delaying the most destructive parts of their policies (effectively printing trillions of dollars to shore up the economy, delaying the employer mandate for Obamacare, holding off on sending a green light that the borders are open until after Obama's reelection), but the truth will out in the end.

What can we do as individuals and non-politicians? At the very least, we can refuse to purchase liberal newspapers. If you must read them, pick up a discarded copy somewhere. Boycott their advertisers if you can. Vote with your money, which speaks the loudest for you.

If you want to spend some money, support Senator Jeff Sessions of Alabama, who has been the only strong voice in Congress against illegal immigration, de facto amnesty and the impoverishment of American labor.
