Our Saturday night out @ Iva Lee's in San Clemente

Well we had a wonderful Saturday night out at Iva Lee's and wanted to give San Clemente a heads up on the restaurant/bar. iva Lees First thing we want to do is give props to the band playing, called Bunch of Guys. They played a great mixture of 80's music and had a great sound. The music wasn't so loud that you couldn't talk which was great.Everyone was up dancing and having a wonderful time. One of the things Christie and I really enjoy is going out and being able to have a few drinks and have great conversations with people from and around San Clemente. iva Lees
Saturday night out at Iva Lee's crowd seemed to range from 30 s all the way up to 60's. We had one lady that we spoke to for about half an hour named Annie. She was in her sixties, full of life and looked like she was in her forties. She made my night a few times pinching my cheeks when she would come up to talk Hahaha. My wife really liked the bar because there were many ladies to talk with and they all seemed very receptive to meeting new people and talking about the great town of San Clemente! I didn't mind it either as I'm usually looking at 100 guys and one girl at most places we go to on weekends lol. Saturday nights are their live music or live band nights. There were enough people at Iva Lee's to call it busy but you were not elbow to elbow trying to move around feeling like everyone is trying to touch you funny lol. .The bartenders were great and very receptive,not once did we have an issue of trying to get a drink.Every time we went up to the bar we had a drink within a minute or two. To end the night we Ubered it home for $5 and didn't have to worry about drinking and driving or parking. We highly suggest, anybody looking for a fun night out on a Saturday, keep this place in mind. Both Christie and I are looking forward to returning and meeting some more great people of San Clemente. Hopefully I can get a golfing partner out of the deal.
