Lake Nona middle/high school....having moving remorse.

I have no opinion on this practice except to say, don't ever buy a house for the schools it is zoned for, it really doesn't matter as much as you think it does. I know parents that live in Maitland that put their kids in Bishop Moore (private school) because they didn't want them attending Edgewater H.S. with kids from Silver Star and Eatonville. I've had teachers and parents at Legacy Middle (near Waterford Lakes) tell me kids are bussed in from Pine Hills.
Now I am confused! I was looking to move into Oveido ( or surrounding areas) just for the high schools . If I bought a house near Haggerty HS , and it is our zoned h.s.let's say, doesn't that guarantee my kid goes there? Just from reading these boards I think I am figuring out some of the areas not to buy into...( perhaps Sanford, Casselbury or Pine Hills).
