A blitz general analysis of media in today's US from the topic on Breitbart News. Basically most of them are just a side on the same coin.

The difference between Breitbart and most leftist media is that Bannon admits he's at war. In reality they are all, more or less at war. And the first casualty of war is - the truth! They need to assassinate the truth and they even do it preemptively.

Because this type of discourse needs to "be right" - always, in everything and each time. It can't allow itself to deviate from the proscribed script, even for one yota.

That's why you'll see left "eat their own" - it's usually when one sjw is trying to be fair about something - one little bit of reality, but heck, it goes against the script. Twitterstorm ensues, work contract terminated.

That's also why Fox suddenly feels compelled to defend Trump every step of the way, even when he's been an obvious buffoon at some highest conference or meeting or when his family members play high level politicians on the world arena and the entire nation has a facepalm on (you were selling shoes and jewelry what the hell are you doing talking to Merkel).

Question is do you need any of such media, whichever political wing you are close(r) to. Perhaps it would be better to try and find ones who are not at war.

They can be recognized by tone first - no shouting matches. Even if it happens that people start talking at the same time, someone will shut up and let another one finish.

Also, you'll notice that people are actually listening to each other. And you'll see that people normally invite guests who are of political persuasion different than their own and the set is friendly - not like 4 to 1, but more like 1 to 1.

Conversations are indepth, there's no you suck I rock atmosphere.
