Welcome To Case's Column

Let me say a big welcome to all of you for joining me here. I'm going to call these blog meetings Case's Column. I wanted to use "Corner", but that was already taken. Since 2008, it's been a real privilege to come on here and share some of my life with you, and it's a big world where we live.

In these blogs, I'll just speak whatever is on my mind, but we will be playing within the rules here. I may pick a particular topic, point out an event, or shoot the breeze. I'm a little bit of an essayist at times, so I'll just speak what's on my mind, and I might tell a story or two. Or, I might spew out an opinion or three. There will be some serious moments, some tender, some poignant, but there will also be those moments that you'll just bust out laughing. But, hopefully, everything will be in good fun here. And, of course, there's a place below for your comments and thoughts as we go along here. So feel free to join me for the ride -- I sure as heck hope I'm doing this right and not making any mistakes.

Thanks for taking your time in reading Case's Column. Hopefully, you'll enjoy being entertained by it as much as I've enjoyed putting these writings together. And thanks for the time you spend in City-Data.com, where it's great to be alive!

Regards,

The Looney Tunes Left Gone Insane: Can It Stoop Any Lower?

How bad, honestly, do things really have to get in my great country called America? It's divided enough that we now, most definitely, have two distinct groups of people in our culture and sphere of influence. If you think it was divided before, then think again. It's much worse than anyone would have you believe.

A few sudden thoughts, if you will, about some people in the news that many of us, frankly, would rather forget about. We can start with the phony satire called Barack Obama, once impersonating a U.S. president by actually serving two terms, but now trying to live civilian life all over again. Guess what he's up to now, gang? He's out there saying that he wants to take credit for the great economy which President Donald Trump had helped us get. This was something, you remember, that Obama never wanted. He didn't want people to prosper. But now, people are prospering once again, with others heading back to work after having been out of it for so long. Wasn't it Darth Barry who once said, "You didn't build it. Someone else made that happen!" That had been in response to business owners during one of his lame speeches, which were, more or less, unneeded condescending lectures to us.

Hey, Barry, about this robust American economy of today, you didn't build it! Someone else made that happen!!!!!

It's true, folks. The American people were not going to back down when President Trump gave us hope and challenged all of us to press forward and achieve our goals.

And then there's Hillary Rotten Clinton. She was quoted as saying, during a recent interview, how Democrats "cannot be civil with Republicans". What a tragic, tragic statement that is. Not surprising, however, considering that that's simply a page out of the Maxine Waters playbook. It was she, after all, who encouraged unrest against people with whom her party disagrees with. Likewise for Eric Holder, our alleged former attorney general. He's calling our Supreme Court illegitimate just because a duly-elected president had sworn in a perfectly reasonable, conservative judge to become the new Supreme Court Justice. Holder said that his party should "use rage to vote and be rid of these people (Republicans)".

Jack Kennedy has to be rolling over in his grave if he were to see what is really happening to today's Democrat Party. He would not recognize it. Apparently, that was also the sentiment of a group of people that once made up that party, but have since decided to leave it. Too much extremism, they said. Too much violence. Too much condescension. If new political parties do get launched in the not-too-distant future, for the because, then they can point back at the way Dems are behaving. They can point at how they are speaking. Does any sane person speak and act the way that modern Dems do? I think not.

It's only a matter of time before the political landscape in America will be begging to undergo serious change.

Why haven't Portland's (Oregon) mayor and police force made any effort to stop Antifa from terrorizing their city?? Why should Antifa, for that matter, be even allowed to tread on any city with its violent modus operandi?

Pray for the folks in the Portland area. Troubling times.

The so-called "Green New Deal" is being dangled before us by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, America's dumbest Congressperson. I'd love to see Mitch McConnell just shoot it down. More power to him! Folks, the Democrats wish to ban hamburgers and airplanes and buildings with this stupid new proposal. It's so laughable what the left keeps coming up with to "make things better".

Readers, you already know what the left really wants to do. I've shared it before on Case's Column. This stupid plan will just seek to control and destroy you!

    Alex "Flip Flop" Cortez:

More flip-flops from Dems, with pre-Trump commentary from your favorite left-wingers, followed by news about President Trump taking a stand for border security.

And more flip-flops from Senator Schumer. Has he not learned anything? And to think he actually took a stand for America just ten years ago. Here's a contrast of policies from six years ago to just two:

Green New Deal?? If Cortez' plan does includes recycling people's urine for future consumption, then shouldn't this be called the Yellow New Deal?

Well, what have we here? Someone in NYC who actually is on my side is standing up to challenge Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for the next cycle.

I like her already. Take a look: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cLqKiuHJFLQ

Mayor Pete Buttigieg (or, perhaps, Bootygag ?) is just the latest loon to declare our great country "not great".

It's just no surprise, folks. The left has nothing to run on.

On Rush Limbaugh's show today, a confession from a CNN analyst. He just admitted that his sad network is biased. It's located roughly halfway down the text. It's David Gergen. Take a look. It's a real eye-opener.
