High Speed Internet in the mountains?

I've only occasionally experienced temporary outages for a minute or two. Otherwise, no problem whatsoever. Working outside with a mountain view is, well, like heaven on earth. However, I have not gone through the winter months yet. If there's going to be outage problems, that will be that peak season. Frankly, I'm more concerned about the occasional bumper sticker around here that reads "Confederate lives matter" :-(
As more of us continental types move in, there will be fewer confederate types thanks for the info and good luck with your first winter!
