It's called Seattle Must Stop Dying
If you have seen the special Seattle is Dying, then you know how the folks of Rhode Island had a solution that needs to be implemented here.
We cannot keep letting Seattle go down the tubes.
If the city council is not acting on it, then we need to have an intervention.
I am nobody here, but with all of you folks, we can do something!

Thanks.

My reply best should be in a Blog. To keep readers on an even keel:

- I do not advocate violence as a solution to any social problem! Do not confuse lawful self defense and preservation of life and limb from felonious threats as "advocating violence." Our rights to protect ourselves as US citizens and also residents of WA State are very clear, if delivered judiciously such that a jury of your peers would find them 'reasonable.' If you don't 'like' or agree with them, gee that's a shame: go through existing legal frameworks to advocate for change. I do! Suppression of opposing views, while not illegal in this case, certainly is immoral.

- My ideas are opinions, and could/should be examined within the framework of 1) existing WA law and 2) the US Constitution. If I have run afoul of either, in so-expressing my opinion, note that I am neither a Constitutional scholar nor member of the Bar in the State of Washington. My opinions are subject to update based upon additional education in current legal thinking for social problems.

- Should I advocate for changes to existing law, to address social problems, take as de facto I argue this must occur within the existing legal processes of the State of WA and United States Federal statutes.

- "Compassionate" solutions are rarely effective to social problems. "Just" solutions, however, are invariably effective. History is replete with concrete examples; do not simply ignore those that are ideologically 'inconvenient.'

WITH THAT PREAMBLE:

As long as the 'solution' includes (all within the *bounds of the law*):

- All vagrants, bums, winos, and drifters fingerprinted and iris scanned. Don't let them fool you, this is existing and not super exotic tech already in use various places worldwide.

- ABLE BODIED: Living on the street, illegally, for the able-bodied means a citation. Immediately. Pay, and get out of here: notice to vacant King County for a period of no less than one year. Second, third citation or failure to pay means misdemeanor sentencing under trespass/vagrancy laws to 30 days on a low or no-security work farm, central WA, someplace like Tonasket.

Work the fields, other labor that is productive for the state of WA. Wages paid, plus fines and fees to the State who has generously supported your bum lifestyle through "programmes" "shelters" and other non-productive means of encouraging ever-greater vagrancy in the state thus far.

Minor children remanded to SAME place, school and light housework/camp labor. No children "taken away" from anyone!

Opportunity to learn a trade: cobblers, carpentry, plumbing, other productive trade skills. Farm labor is fine, too. Better start learning something. Straighten up, wear clean uniforms with acceptable grooming, learn responsibility for oneself under semi-structured environment.

Vacating the work farm w/o authorization results in increasingly penalties, now moving to criminal prosecution.

BS excuses like "I've just gotta be free, man!" and similiar: hey, great. Per (this) citation, you may not enter King County for a period of one year due to vagrancy laws. Return, you will be arrested, leading to:

- DRUG ZOMBIES, CRIMINALS, MURDERERS, OTHER ANTI SOCIALS: Immediate arrest and remand to jail. If the jail is full, remand to state prison camp. Adjudication of cases per criminal statues, including sentencing and etc. Do the drug zombie/murdering each other crap in a jail or prison camp, where you belong, not on the street among productives.

- ILLEGAL ALIENS are deported, immediately. "Sanctuary Cities" are a federal crime. US Marshalls to enforce using whatever LEGAL means necessary. The question of primacy of Federal law over State was settled definitively in the War Between the States, 1860-1865.

- MENTALLY ILL/CRAZIES: Remand for mandatory 72 hour mental health hold, King County jail mental health section. Subsequent adjudication into whatever classification fits, see previous. If "mentally ill," mandatory 30 day hold at mental health facility, or jail. Subsequent examination and re-sentencing based on determination of health care professionals, either remand on own RoR w/checkins with health care and discounted or free meds, OR hold at state mental health until such time as can self-control the condition.
