Strange Footprints

Have you ever gone to bed at night during a heavy snowfall and woke up in the morning to discover weird looking tracks in your yard ?
I did the other day. There were about 7 or 8 different kinds of tracks in my fenced in back yard. Some were small, some large, some bow-legged and a few were pigeon-toed.
I followed the largest set of tracks, which looked like small human footprints, to the chain link fence but they did not continue on the other side, nor did they back up and turn around. Must have took to the air.
I'm pretty sure two sets of the smaller tracks belong to a cat, I've seen him hanging around a few times. I have also seen deer in my yard before. St. Louis county is overrun with them, so much so that politicians are wanting to hire hunters with bows and arrows to knock off a bunch.
Tracks in snow can be deceiving because of the way they change shape. One of these days I am going to borrow a camera to put in my back yard so I can " Look at all the happy creatures dancing on the lawn."
