Welcome To Case's Column

Let me say a big welcome to all of you for joining me here. I'm going to call these blog meetings Case's Column. I wanted to use "Corner", but that was already taken. Since 2008, it's been a real privilege to come on here and share some of my life with you, and it's a big world where we live.

In these blogs, I'll just speak whatever is on my mind, but we will be playing within the rules here. I may pick a particular topic, point out an event, or shoot the breeze. I'm a little bit of an essayist at times, so I'll just speak what's on my mind, and I might tell a story or two. Or, I might spew out an opinion or three. There will be some serious moments, some tender, some poignant, but there will also be those moments that you'll just bust out laughing. But, hopefully, everything will be in good fun here. And, of course, there's a place below for your comments and thoughts as we go along here. So feel free to join me for the ride -- I sure as heck hope I'm doing this right and not making any mistakes.

Thanks for taking your time in reading Case's Column. Hopefully, you'll enjoy being entertained by it as much as I've enjoyed putting these writings together. And thanks for the time you spend in City-Data.com, where it's great to be alive!

Riots Are Tipping Point Which Will Red-Pill America Like Never Before

Just when America was trying to get reopened up after the COVID-19 crisis, my goodness, another crisis unfolds. An ill-advised move by a Minneapolis police officer during the arrest of one George Floyd has triggered a crazy and alarming aftermath.

And here's the rub: A lot of the protests that have been going on ended up NOT having that much to do with honoring George Floyd. You'd think protests, in and of themselves, would be peaceful. In this day and age, you also have bad apples with mean intentions. We had ANTIFA crawl out of the woodwork and infect a number of our cities. Protests dissolved into looting and riots. People's businesses, services, and even a police precinct were burned to the ground by these thugs. Let's face it, sports fans; ANTIFA, like the aforementioned Chinese communists from a previous post, are not your friends. I have called ANTIFA a terrorist organization many moons before President Donald J Trump officially declared such yesterday. America must stand and not let these thugs get the best of us with their vile thuggery. We'll likely be hearing more in the coming days from Attorney General Bill Barr regarding these matters, as we already have, but if there's any real justice that has to be done, it's these people from ANTIFA. I only wish Alcatraz would reopen out West. It never really should have been closed down, and since we don't have enough jails in the U.S., perhaps it would be prudent for the federal government to reopen Alcatraz for hardened criminals.

Oh, and the official autopsy report determined no evidence of actual strangulation from the police incident.

George Floyd's relatives have said that he would not have wanted any violence at all, which we've seen erupt for no rational reason at all. ANTIFA is far-left, and the far left hates police officers or any form of law enforcement. When more and more disenfranchised Democrats and disillusioned blacks see the violence, I'm sure they can't help but become more and more convinced that conservatives are showing more of a call for peace than the other party. And it hasn't helped that Joe Biden actually praised ANTIFA during a recent campaign speech.

Not to worry. Dr Steve Turley puts on a great, encouraging video on YouTube six days a week with important analysis from a conservative, common sense perspective. Here's the very latest from him below in this link:

I have said before that a conservative resurgence is happening in America. Don't be fooled by what the fake news media would have many believe. Conservatism is coming. It's one thing to protest peacefully, but violent riots negate any attempt at peaceful protesting.

This shows that ANTIFA must be stopped before any more damage gets done to our cities. We don't need any more setbacks to what we're supposed to be going for, and that's an economic recovery and resounding victory over the recent coronavirus pandemic. And the fact that the left is cheering and supporting those who commit violent, hateful, and destructive acts against fellow Americans is just cause for a serious red wave come election time in November.

And you know something else, folks? I sure as hell hope these incidents create more conservatives amongst the brethren and sisteren. In this critical election year where the Good Guys must win back the House, keep the presidency, and keep the Senate, it is paramount!
