Well, yeah, the stimulus checks DID change my life.

But you misunderstand me as being angry about you pulling money out of the market - I think it's a very bad move that you'll regret, all over a 10% loss. I lost 30% in the last big downturn and didn't take a penny out - and now it's been more than made up. At this point I'm within 4 years of retiring, with any luck so this is not a great time for a downturn, but I'll weather through it because I plan to be retired for maybe 30 years and that money will stay invested.

And I know a number of people with pet insurance. I'd say to look into it but it's likely too late with a pre-existing condition - sorry.
